အေပးအယူနဲ႔
ေၾကာက္ရြ႔ံ႔အရႈံးေပးျခင္းေတြကေန

ဒီမုိကေရစီဆုိတာ
ေမြးဖြားလာမွာမဟုတ္ဘူး။

ငါ႔ေျမေပၚမွာ

ငါ့ေျခေပၚငါရပ္မတ္မတ္ဖုိ႔

မင္းတုိ႔လုိဘဲ

ငါ့မွာလည္းအခြင့္အေရးအျပည့္နဲ႔ဆုိတာ….။

သူထုိက္နဲ႔သူ႔ကံဆုိတဲ႔စကားကို

လူေတြေျပာလြန္းသံၾကားမွာ ၾကားရတာငါေမာေနမိၿပီ

မနက္ျဖန္ဆုိတာ မလာေသးတဲ့ေန႔တေန႔ပါ။

ငါေသမွ လြတ္လပ္တာမ်ိဳးေတာ့ ငါတကယ္မလုိခ်င္ဘူး

မနက္ျဖန္မွရမယ့္အခြင့္အေရးေတြနဲ႔ အသက္ရွင္မေနခ်င္ဘူး…။

ျမင့္ျမတ္ေသာလုိအပ္ခ်က္ကေန

ေပါက္ဖြားရွင္သန္လာခဲ့တာဟာ

လြတ္လပ္မႈဆုိတဲ့ သန္မာတဲ့မ်ိဳးေစ့ဘဲေလ..

ငါလည္းဒီမွာေမြးတဲ့သူဘဲ

မင္းတုိ႔လိုဘဲလြတ္လပ္ခြင့္ကို လုိခ်င္တယ္။

“ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ မ်ိဳးဆက္သစ္နီဂရုိးလူငယ္အႏုပညာရွင္ေတြဟာ သူတို႔ရဲ႔အသားေရာင္ေတြကို မရွက္မေၾကာက္ (အားမငယ္ေတာ႔ဘဲ) သူတုိ႔ေတြရဲ႔ယံုၾကည္ရာေတြကိုထုတ္ေဖာ္ဖုိ႔ ဆႏၵျပင္းျပလာၾကပါၿပီ။ လူျဖဴေတြေတာ့ လက္ခံရင္(သေဘာက်ရင္)ေကာင္းတာေပါ့။ သေဘာမက်လည္း ကိစၥမရွိဘူး။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ လွပတယ္ဆုိတာ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔သိလာၿပီျဖစ္သလုိ  ရုပ္ဆုိးတယ္ဆုိတာကိုလည္း လက္ခံလာႏုိင္ၿပီေလ… အေရာင္ရွိတဲ့လူတုိင္းကလက္ခံတယ္ဆုိရင္ေတာ့ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ၾကမွာပါျဖစ္သလို သေဘာမက် မႏွစ္သက္ႏုိင္ဘူးဆုိရင္လည္း ကိစၥေတာ့မရွိပါဘူး။ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ဟာ အျမင္႔ဆံုးေသာ(ယံုၾကည္မႈ)ေတာင္ထိပ္မွာ ရပ္ၿပီး ကိုယ့္ကိုယ္ကို ယံုၾကည္လြတ္လပ္မႈေတြနဲ႔ ခုိင္ခုိင္မာမာဘဲ ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ရဲ႔အနာဂတ္နန္းေတာ္ကို ကြ်န္ေတာ္တုိ႔ေဆာက္လုပ္လုိက္ပါၿပီ။” (ဒီေနရာမွာ Temples for tomorrow ကို အနာဂတ္နန္းေတာ္လုိ႔ ဘာသာျပန္လုိက္ပါတယ္။ ဘာသာျပန္သူ။)

နယူးေယာခ္ၿမိဳ့ရဲ႔ ဟာလမ္(Harlem)၊ အမွတ္ ၂၀၊ ၁၂၇(အေရွ႔) လမ္းေလးကို ယခုအခါမွာေတာ့ နီဂရိုးကဗ်ာဆရာႀကီး (Langston Hughes) ရဲ႔အမည္ကိုအစြဲျပဳၿပီး Langston Hughes Place ဆုိၿပီး ေခၚဆုိေနၾကပါၿပီ….။ တကယ္ေတာ့ အဲဒီေနရာေလးဟာ သူေနထုိင္ခဲ့ရာေနရာေလးတစ္ခုလည္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ကဗ်ာ၊ ဝထၱဳတုိ၊ ျပဇာတ္ စသည့္ စာအစံု ေရးႏုိင္၊ အေရးေကာင္းတဲ့ Hughes ကို ဂ်ိဳ႔ပလင္ၿမိဳ့(Joplin)၊ မစ္ဇူရီျပည္နယ္(Missouri) မွာ ေမြးဖြားခဲ့ပါတယ္။ နီဂရုိးအမ်ားစုရဲ႔ထံုးစံအတုိင္းေမြးဖြားတဲခုႏွစ္ကိုအတိက်မသိရေပမယ့္ ၁၉၇၆ ေမလ ၂၂မွာ ကင္ဆာေရာဂါနဲ႔ ကြယ္လြန္ခဲ႔ပါတယ္။

လြတ္လပ္မႈ၊ တရားမွ်တမႈကိုေတာင္းတေမွ်ာ္လင့္ႀကိဳးပမ္းေနၾကတဲ့ ညီအကိုေမာင္ႏွမသူငယ္ခ်င္းမိတ္ေဆြမ်ား အတြက္ အုတ္တစ္ခ်ပ္သဲတစ္ပြင့္ျဖစ္လုိျဖစ္ျငား ႀကိဳးစားဘာသာျပန္ေပးလုိက္တာပါ။ Hughes လုိရဲရင့္တဲ့ တုိင္းျပည္ေရွ့ေဆာင္ အႏုပညာသမားမ်ားေပၚထြက္လာေရးလည္း ဆုေတာင္းေပးလုိက္ပါတယ္။
